Basic Premise:

In Co-op Cubes, you control two squares that must work together to solve a series of puzzles. At some points, you must join together to jump up onto high platforms, while at other times you'll have to split up to help each other by standing on various buttons.

Theme:

My game interprets the theme in two slightly different ways. One is that you must literally smush together to become stronger, while the other is that the puzzles would be impossible without both characters.

Some extra notes:

While the game was designed to be a single-player experience, I think it would be just as fun if you invited a friend, each person playing one of the cubes. Also, there's a timer in the bottom right corner because I thought it would be fun to speed run. Feel free to post your best time in the comments, hopefully along with some highly appreciated feedback.

really cool game, it's fun to play, and great idea! there are a few minor bugs i found(if a player is standing on a white trigger and the other player steps off, the game thinks there are no players on it), but nothing too big to destroy the game. the levels are also very hard in platforming skill, which may cause people to not want to play it. i really like the sound of players dying, i could jump into a red square for hours and just listen to the sound.

overall, great game with great potential, i could imagine this as a game you would play on coolmathgames(it's a compliment btw) while having class.

Thanks for your feedback! I wanted to make the levels pretty hard since there are only three of them, but I would have liked to have taken some of the difficulty from the plaformer aspect and put it into the puzzles. I almost didn't include the sounds since there's only one, but I'm glad I did because I've already gotten two comments about them. Also, being on coolmathgames would totally rock.

After turning it in I realized that the UI is all messed up, so there is no timer and if you try to pause, the menu is way too big. I could probably figure out a way to fix it, but it's really late and I'd rather not have to build and submit it all over again. Sorry about that.
